Thermostat housing mounting bolts

My Mitsubishi D2350 thermostat housing mounting bolts are badly eroded where they go through the thermostat housing. I'm afraid to tighten them very much for fear they may shear off.

What grade and material metric bolts should I get?

WoW - that may be a tough nut to crack. For something that specific - go to your local Mitsubishi dealer.

I replaced those bolts on my D1850 a few years back - just went to the hardware store and picked up matching bolts from their selection, nothing special at all (The thermostat housing is a relatively low torque fitting). Just blew the bolt holes out, threw on some anti-seize, new gasket and snugged them up with a 3/8th ratchet and socket.

Thanks. I picked up the bolts at Home Depot-M8-1.25, metric grade 8.8 . They're zinc plated. Installed them and all is good.
