I like em. Their implements are pricey (cheaper than a dealer) but American made. I like to catch their jeans on sale. Got 3 pair of Schmidts for $6.99 ea a few weeks back. They carry more welding supplies than Home Depot or Lowes.

I've got 3 within 20 minutes, one 5 miles away. 3 years ago there were none.

I've bought a lot of stuff from them. If I search around, I might be able to get SOME stuff cheaper but it's not worth the time to run all over heck trying to save a few pennies or a couple of dollars.

They are pretty much my go to store. I get a lot of stuff there, from dog food to batteries.

There are no other farm style stores around.

I have TSC, Rural King and Family Farm and Home near me. The TSC is better run and organized than the others, plus it's the closest. Win all around.

They are building one here in town. Currently the closest one is 30-40 minutes away. This will be about 10 min. You have to watch what you buy and the price but it's nice to have one around.

Their website says free shipping to store. So if they don't stock something order online and have it shipped to store closest to you. Beats paying truck freight to your house on large items.

All-In-All TSC is a pretty good store. It may not carry the biggest, baddest or best of some things but you can generally find what you need. They also run some good specials and I've snapped up a few awesome deals. Our local TSC saves me a 1 hour drive to the nearest competitor.

The TSC closest to me closed down a few months ago. Their main competitor around here was Fleet Farm which was a little larger than TSC and had slightly lower prices. It looks like Fleet Farm won. I feel bad for the people that worked there and shopped there.

I bought a small plow and my Ratchet Rake there. And they always had the Tractor House catalogs by the front door - now I can't find them.

I moved from Fleet Farm country in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Tennessee TSC country 2 years ago. I found it is difficult living without Fleet Farm and Menards, but I am slowly adjusting. Don't get me started on missing Culvers.:licking::licking:

I buy quite a bit from TSC from parts to feed. My local store always seems to have clothing on sale. Sign up for their mailing list and you will get 10% off entire purchase coupons in the mail. They also give volume discounts for some items. I buy shavings by the pallet load, 45 bags, and get the 5% discount. It's even better when they go on sale for $1 off a bag. They split it into two pallets for me so they are easier to move with the FEL and pallet forks.

We had one open here last month. Went to check it out and was somewhat disappointed. They do have more tractor and implement items than either the tractor dealers or the other farm stores in the area. We also have a NW Co Op Wilco close by. Yes TSC has bolts/nuts by the # but no Grade 8. Wilco sells that way also but has all grades up to 8 in sizes up to 1". General prices are in the same range but Wilco gives a 10% military discount and TSC does not. Wilco is also a true value hardware store and is open 7 days. I will go to TSC for the stuff not carried elsewhere due to the discount. In this area military discounts are very popular and create a big competition factor such as Lowes, Home Depot, Wilco, Ace Hardware, NAPA Auto Parts, they cover 75% of what I need.

TSC in Canada has been a blessing and now a HUGE disappointment! There used to be tractor related products and agricultural products unlike any other retail store up here. Year after year, these product lines have been pruned to the point, where they are pretty much selling what any other hardware store is selling.

What has expanded is their CLOTHING line. They are the go to place if you want camouflage slippers or even a camo Lazy Boy Recliner. (How Stupid). Or Farm-Girl T-shirts. That, I guess is where the profits lie, but it is a sad situation.
