I found My cousin Siwzzle stick in the field once.. He forgot the tractor key and just sat there making tractor noises till we got to wondering what he was up to and came out with the other tractor and a straight jacket....

my peve as well.

my front pasture has a road along side of it. i find beer bottles and cans and soda cans and whatever trash people didn't need usually just on my side of the fence

I bet if you would drive to town and as you left your gate you started drinking a soda by the time you emptied it you would be in front of the nearest convenience store or drive thru hamburger joint!

Was he making hydraulics noises too or just sitting there idling. If he was just idling I would talk to him about productivity.

Depending on what bolt pattern that tranny is you stuff a diesel motor in there or go hog wild and stuff a fuel injected 454 motor in it. That might get you a few splinters in the hiney with that wooden seat the first time you stepped on the throttle.:confused2:

Just to scale it for you the think is about 4 and a half feet wide that diff is tiny not sure what it is out of

Awww come on "no guts no glory". Or the other favorite saying is as you hand your brew to a Buddy "Hey watch this!"
4 and a half feet shoot you could take one of them old boat anchor V-10 Ford motors.

I have never found anything cool in the field but i did have a unforgettable experience several years ago .My father asked me to mow a over grown 1/2 acre of land he had been letting a neighbor use to garden The old guy had passed and the land was over grown in weeds .At the time i did not have my own bush hog so i borrowed my buddy's . Before starting mowing i ask my dad is there anything in the garden .This old guy was a serious junk collector .My dad assures me he had cleaned everything out Ok i start I make a round or two and everything is fine Suddenly as i look behind me about 30 feet away the grass is waving like crazy I stop and the waving gets worse for a minute then i finally react and shut off the pto buy this time i have wrapped up at least 50/60 feet of the old guys plastic air hose Apparently he had a large bottle of oxygen he would set by the side of the garden and he had to have a oxygen mask on most of the time . So i have to cut this all out from the blades . My dad comes along sees what i am doing says oh i must have missed that ! OK back at it finish up the garden and have one pass along the property line left to do almost done 20 feet left and bang smash there was a 8''round pipe laying in the grass . I thought the bush hog was going to jump off the tractor . Luckily it was a old sewer pipe ? made like a brick material so no harm to the bush hog other than beating up the blades what a day !
