We are thankful to still be well this year.
Mrs.tiller and I did not host Tday dinner this year.
Just us, a bowl of ham & bean soup and watched a little Gunsmoke on TV.
If things don't improve we may cancel Xmas also, but we'll make up for it next year.

TV Dinners for us this year. Hopefully, next year will return to normal. Fred Meyers gave us a free 20 pound turkey this year but we aren't going to waste it on two people. Will probably donate it to the local food bank. However, they will not be getting my peach pie.

Yupper! All but the too much to eat, i'm single, don't cook and eat from a microwave.

Happy holidays to all

I'm single also, but I also like to eat and my last microwave went nuclear about 5 years ago. I do several meals up at a time... I just cooked up 3 lbs of ground pork which I will freeze in portions, and use for spagetti, chili, or whatever else I feel like making. I often do a full chicken or a pork roast on the grill, they'll last for many meals.

The Wife and I try to always make 3 day meals. We eat our main (heavy) meal at noon and just have a soup or sandwich in the evening. Most meals, like spaghetti or beef stroganoff really taste better the second and third day. A fourth day would be to much of a good thing. The Instant Pot has become our go-to meal maker. Just the right amount of food cooked perfectly in less time. Pinto Beans are my favorite and are a meal by themselves. We also vacuum seal all our meats before freezing in 2 person portions.

I'm thankful that my wife is such a great cook but right now I'm sitting in front of my computer suffering from eating too much, bloated and feeling miserable. But how could I resist her baked honey glazed ham, unbelievable candied yams, mirlitons with shrimp, green bean casserole, the best macaroni and cheese, and dinner rolls with Kerrygold butter? Drinking more than one of my favorite libations might also have been a contributing factor.

Also thankful for having many of my great TBN friends to share my misery with.

BELCH! Hope that helped!

Lots to be thankful for on my end this year.
Two and a half years ago my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor of which the previous 2 years was pure H-E-Doublehockeystick. Not only did I lose my best long time employee to cancer but my wife (which ran our family business office) was completely out of commission and my life turned into being a disaster about to fall off the cliff. I was working tirelessly and feverishly to keep our business and home life from financial crash and burn.
After her major brain surgery and hospitalizations, and working trying to keep home and work fires burning, things slowly turned around with my wife coming back to herself again and taking pressure off. Though it was a long four years of ups and downs my work and home climate has settled back to some normalcy.
Today, I am thankful my wife and I have been blessed with good health again, thankful our 42 years in business has been finally paying off in being able to give our hard working employees (2) work, full pay and bonuses through this pandemic (without any PPP paid by taxpayers). Thankful our two grown married kids are doing well and it makes us proud to see their accomplishments.
It’s sad seeing the news with other families suffering, but it makes me greatful and thankful for the life the good lord has given me.

I'm not going to quote your post, but it's good to hear things have turned around for you, and Kudos to your wife for winning her battle!
