Since you are buying a new tractor, and not getting a great deal on an almost new tractor that already has a 300x on it, don't make a dumb move and settle for a 300x because you are trying to be cheap. Do it right, so you don't have any regrets later down the road, get the 300cx now!!!!, More lift height, more lift capacity, and as mike mentioned, it is already laid out for the extra auxillary hydro lines right now.

It doesn't pay to be cheap when you are buying a machine like this. Do it right the first time. Also, get the Heavy Duty Bucket! If you settle for the cheap standard bucket, it will bend and warp overtime.

My advice, put together a machine somebody is going to want to buy if you choose to sell later down the road.

Dude that is an awesome price.

I just got a quote for the following
3320 hydro with 300cx 6' hd bucket\
larger r4 tires
ballast box
mx5
frontier 6' rake

$24622 /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Get the 300cx loader with the hd bucket and run with it.

That's a great price from my perspective- I paid about $23K for the same set up (LX5 and 60" BB). Not much room to deal around here, I'd take it and run at $20.5K. I have a 300X and have no need for anything more- but if you have a lot of FEL work ahead of you, it's a small price to pay for a lot more loader (not only can it take a bigger bucket, but more front mounted stuff as well).

guys, i just got back from the dealer and as usual, i upped everything. he called me this morning and said he could do the following; 3320 hydro, 300x(not CX), LX5 bush hog, and an off brand 5' box blade(hawk) for 19965 OTD. i had already let you all talk me into the CX loader. so i told him i liked the price but wanted to step up the CX. he pushed me to consider taking the 3520(next model up) with the 300 CX loader he had in stock. here is what we did; 3520 hydro(no mid pto) with 300CX, LX5 and the same off brand box blade for an even $2k upcharge over the original package. after getting him to agree to a few details i agreed. so i got out the door for 21965. after ALOT of research i am happy with this price. the only negative is i think it is a standard duty bucket, he is currently checking. thanks for the advice and i hope i become a big Deere fan with good service from this tractor.
