Thinking about a Kubota 500

Box size is adequate for what I use mine for, and so far no problems with climbing hills as others have reported. I have about 20 hours on it and I'm liking it fine.

Anyone with a 500 regret getting it because of the smaller box? I looked at them yesterday and the box seems to be considerably smaller than the 900... around 1' in length and width.

Just wondering if you've found that you could use more room for hauling stuff.

Also, with the problems that have been posted in regards to climbing hills, does anyone with a more recent 500 (past year or so) have any problems climbing?

I like having the smaller more nimble machine 90% of the time and the other 10% I just put a utility trailer on the back and haul in that.

Hill climbing isn't a problem as long as your machine is adjusted correctly, I can tow my 3K bass boat up hills using mine and will lose traction far before I lose power. With your servo/throttle stop adjusted correctly you will flat out not bog out your machine, you will spin your tires but not just sit there bogged down and not moving.
