Somebody may be able to justify that creation, but as far as I am concerned it is just a complete waste of a perfectly good truck and trailer.

I am pretty sure the truck had rear frame damage. I would sure hope anyway.

I have seen Red Necks around here do the same type of thing with old School Buses and even a RV Chassis. They just cut it down and put a flat bed on the frame. I have seen a guy hauling a tractor that way and many of race cars and crash up derby cars.

There is also a fella around here with an old school bus turned flatbed hauler. His only has the rear 12 ft or so chopped, and a small roll up garage door seperating the open section from the enclosed. He appears to haul motocross bikes and such in it.

You need the Rover engine and a later MGB. The version of MGB with the flares on the inside of the wheel wells were to accomodate the headers. The Rover engine was actually a Buick engine with Rover manifolds and headers. Went like a scared rabbit. They called it the MGB GTB. Only the coupe was sold over here but they did make a few roadsters across the pond.
Love to see some pics of where you are so far.....always wanted to do it to my yellow roadster. Ah but it went with the last marriage.......
