I highly, HIGHLY recommend rimguard. It is the only fluid used here in Michigan, probably because it was invented here and because we grow sugar beets, the byproducts of which become rimguard. :) It has all the pluses of any tire fluid with no issues of corrosion or killing the grass (or your well water!) if it leaks out. I am not a dealer or investor, I don't get any money from rimguard, but I do think it is a far better choice than calcium chloride or "windshield washer fluid." Also, around here it isn't expensive - I had both my rear 16.9x28 R1s loaded for $400 complete, and I think that works out to something like 1400lbs total:
