Just curious if Eric ever started marketing his 3rd function kit for the Kioti NX5510CH. On his videos that control handle sure does look nice and way the lines were run.
Thanks,
The grip itself is a John Deer grip - I'm using one on our 3rd function I'm putting together right now. You can get all the parts for the grip for about $75-$80 if you shop around. The "catch" is the circuitry in the grip is made for very low current draw (about 1/10th of an amp so I've read) whereas the solenoid will draw about 3-5 Amps.
Others have used simple automotive relays to trigger the solenoid with no trouble but I was concerned because the coil current on most 40A Auto relays is also right about 1/10th of an Amp. So I built my own circuit board with some smaller PC Board style relays with a lower coil current.
I am literally in the process of hooking everything up (hopefully tonight) after finally locating the elusive fittings to replace the hard line on our CK35.
I am planning on doing a full write-up with pictures, parts list, etc as soon as I get done.
If you decide to build your own instead of going with something like the WR Long Kit I'll be happy to share info, parts sources, etc.
