I bought my tractor used and tried to avoid taking the backhoe that was on it and couldn't. I didn't want one, thought I'd never use one and would just end up having it take up space in my barn.

Boy was I wrong! I've used that more than any other part of my tractor. I've dug out stumps, pulled fence posts, used it to load and unload with a chain over it and for dozens of other things. I even used it to dig a trench once. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Once you use one you'll never, ever want to be without it again.

Okay - I went by today and saw my baby almost ready to be delivered and decided she needed a backhoe - ordered the JD48. Should be ready for delivery Friday.
