don't forget that there were many parts and components backlogged due to the earthquake and tsunami.
I thought Kubota was not greatly affected by the disaster.

It's a Japanese tractor with Japanese parts. Really, what did you expect, and why, since we are on the subject, do you think the US manufacturing sector has disappeared (along with the Middle Class jobs that accompanied it)?
Gee, the water I use is pumped out to a tank truck that drives it to another continent. Now my well is dry and I can't understand why. I just don't get it.
Don't worry, you are not alone. Enjoy your thirst. They are printing more water as we speak.
A little hypocritical considering your JD 1070 was also made in Japan.
As to the OP, I know it sucks, I've been there too. Had to wait nearly 2 weeks for a steel hydraulic line for my B3200 to come from Japan. It was a new part for this model and they hadn't started stocking them in this country yet (only a few months after the B3200 was introduced.) Luckily, in the past 2.5 years and 450hrs of ownership this was the only time it was an issue. The only other part I have needed in that time was in stock at the dealer.
I do believe that my dealer would pull one off a lot model to get me going, he has given a loaner unit when in for warranty work also.

Even when you don't need your tractor ... waiting for it to come home is miserable.
We have several of those freightliner/Mercedes vans at work and you'd think with the multitude of them out there all the parts you'd need would be in the states. Nope. No alternators, fuel pumps or some wiring looms. All had to be ordered from europe. It's not just tractors that have those probs.
