That is fantastic! I give his folks a lot of credit for encouraging him to work for things despite his handicap. If I lived near them he would be hired to mow my lawn. It is nice to see this kind of story on CNN instead of the usual doom and gloom. -Mike

I agree with what you all said but don't any of you worry about the kid tipping over and getting hurt? I do and it sure wouldn't take much. Those chairs aren't made for off pavement really at all and it does not take a lot to tip one over.

If they would put some sort of outriggers or something on it to keep it from tipping I'd feel a lot better about it.

A legitimate concern, for sure. My guess is the mower attaches to the wheel chair and keeps it pretty stable left to right. I also think his dad is right there if there are problems.

I think there are a lot of issues to work out, but the fact that the parents and the boy have a positive attitude means they can accomplish a lot. Thanks for posting this Moss.
