About a 20% upgrade from this one.

If this one wasn't as expensive as it is, I'd love to have one to "chain down" whenever I haul an empty trailer. But I'd let the operator ride inside.

Neat idea but I can't imagine you can actually do much with it.

I bet there are no YouTubes of it working. I can't check because I'm on cell service but Bruce not finding it is proof enough.

I got curious and did google it today, mainly to find out how much it cost. Looks like it starts at about 11,000 CAD plus tax and delivery, plus it requires some custom welding and fab work for the mounts. All the videos I found appeared to be digging in sand. And both the backhoe and front loader combined are over 1000 lbs.

You pretty much have to have a lockout kit added to the suspension to support it, but I have no idea how they they don't blow out tires from the weight.

I don't know about you, but I like my ATV's too much to subject them to that kind of abuse. I stupidly bought a pull behind disk and tried using that for a few year before having a revelation that "ATV's suck for field work" and bought a real CUT. For the 11k plus 6-11k for the atv, I could by a nice tractor.

I wont' even get into how top heavy and unstable it would make an atv....they roll too easy the way it is. Now put 300 lbs more than the base unit weights, above the center of gravity without a roll cage and I don't want to be anywhere near it.

Lots of youtubes

The backhoe is probably a LOT better than digging by hand. I think a towable backhoe makes more sense. Tow it with the ATV. And when you're done with it I bet its easy to sell. You buy that atv mounted hoe and you're stuck with it.

I think a firewood bucket on the front of an ATV would be useful. Could use an electric actuator.

Running the hoe would be hard on a air cooled ATV, they are designed to have wind moving past them:shocked:
A water cooled unit would need fans on the radiators....looks like a short lifespan for the motor...and the rest of it.;)

The ATV motor is not running. An air cooled 5hp Honda engine runs the hydraulic pump.
