Hey Bill,
I looked exactly like that Kubota last spring, only with the 8N instead... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The trench in the picture was left open all winter, so when they filled it in over the water, it was like quicksand. I was mowing a couple weeks after they filled it in, and I didn't straddle it quite well enough. It sat in the middle of the front yard for about a week before a neighbor with a backhoe pulled it out. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

OUCH: those would be a bad thing to have happen.

I felt about that helpless when the creek bank gave away on me. lucky it didn't tip and there aws SOLID rock under it but just no manuvering room. a little sholvel work and managed to lock the diff and 4 wheel drive in adn lift the front end up and push with the FEl enough to pry it around and get it out. took about 2~3 hrs of screwing around. but it did drive it's way out. biggest problem was the pole that was under the wheels attempting to steer/drive over it with the china back hoe & fEL combo has large FORK shapped back hoe mounts under the tractor center and the loose wild rose stuff was too slipery to get enough traction to drive off the high centered pole problem... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I've been saved by the backhoe on mine more times than I care
to admit. Three times just today. 4WD doesn't do much when
you have the rear differential embedded in muck.

OK, I tried for days not to let this take me over, but why are you smiling at this misfortune? Because you haven't had it happen to you? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif that's the only reason I can think of! LOL, John

It's funny that we do smile when someone posts these pictures, but when it finally happens to us (and it will), we look more like this-----> /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
(pretty much in that order too!)
