I try not to feed anything around the farm. Turkeys, Crows, Quail, and Doves and every other wild critter are out as soon as I give the horses or cows any feed. Chicken scratch is fed minimally and I stay around while it is eaten. The Turkeys and Crows will be right in there with the Chickens if I leave.

Most years I put out Humming Bird feeders as they also clean up skeeters to amend their nectar. This year I have yet to put any as just to busy. I have lots of birds though and in many cases I wish I had less when they like to perch and purge on everything I own....

That's 1 thing they do real well. Not the hummers so much. Its fun to watch them catching bugs.
