This plow out was a little more expensive

This is why Doc I'm getting another rear blade that can easily be off set so the tractor does not have to be in the same place as the blade.

I wish I had that option too. This big for us snow we just got, I spent 3 hours on my road getting it cleared, but it is no where near a wide as I wanted. I always chicken out when I cannot see well enough because of snow depth, where the road and ditches are. I tend to ere on the side of caution, because a bad move could be real trouble.

Not a tractor story, but snowy, for sure. In the 70's, in Indiana, I had a '72 VW bus... decided to go for a trip down the interstate during a blizzard, but of course I had my buddies with me to deal with any snow issues! We were cruising down the wide open interstate, which was sort of plowed, but heavy snow was falling, so... I went into a slow spin with a slide. The northbound and southbound lanes were maybe 200' apart, with a smooth grass median, sloped towards the center for drainage. We went onto the median going maybe 20mph, backwards, and proceeded to slide all the way to the middle. Cool, except we were sitting on top of 2' of snow. (VW buses had a smooth, flat bottom, sort of like a sleigh). The wheels were about 8" above the ground. Any movement of the bus would have to be up hill. Wrecker time. The only good part was the ride I got with a state highway plow truck to a phone- a behemoth of a Mack truck that must have weighed 40 tons. It had a great heater.
