This rainy weather is putting a damper on my seat time!!

Adverse weather is the reason I have to own and not rent my equipment... too many weather related problems.

Owning gives the flexibility to get a couple hours of seat time as the opportunity arises.

Yup it's been very rainy all year here in Indiana. Seems like every time it starts to dry out another rain comes along and turns everything to mud again.

I live a mile from the Indiana border. The rain is giving the farmers a rough time getting their beans and corn in. The farmers I have talked to said this is the best crop of beans and corn they have seen in many years.

I agree with the rain. That's all it does here in central NY lately. I've been trying to put up 200' of snow fence and the weather didn't cooperate until today. Now I can drop the loader and get the front blower mounted.. finally! Here's to better weather!

We'll see what winter will bring. The National Weather Forecast calls for a mild winter. My 77 year old mother, who is a wooly-worm watcher, predicts a hard winter. I think it may be a wet winter.

If the percipitation keeps going like it has this year we might be snowed in half the winter! Or at least we will have a better chance for a white christmas, it's been
a few yrs in these parts.

LBrown, you asked what I didn't like about it so far---

Well for starters I don't care for the whine the hydrostat has. I feel its to loud. From what the general consenous is that it is normal. I just feel its to loud to be normal. I guess I'll see how that plays out. I also feel the hydrostat reduces the tractors power. The tractor failed to perform on a couple tasks I felt a 32 horsepower tractor should have no problem doing. One may have been a traction issue so I won't hold much blame there.
It also has the vibration issue others have mentioned here on the boards. With only 5 hours on it, I'll give it a chance

When I bought my tractor, I had a sunshade/canopy installed. This has been the best accessory so far... Hardly get wet at all.
Here in Washington state, we average 270 overcast days a year. I go out and work in the rain all the time.

After a summer that was pretty arid, it started raining, with regularity, in mid September and it really hasn't stopped since. I'd say rain 5 out of 7 days since. Geeeeesh.
