Got a call from my shipper... Truck has brokedown.... I was in no rush last week, now it jams me with work. But worse, I don't get my toy until next Monday at the earliest.. Wife is going to kill me with all my moping around. thougt you guys might understand...

Yes, I can understand. It was about 10 days between the decision to buy and its arrival in my driveway. I can't imagine it being even longer...

Hang in there...you can make,that's if you stay out of the range of the mop.
Good side of of the wait...tractor arrives Monday,sooo you can have three day weekend.

No easy out on this one. At best clean / organize the garage or storage shed and get it ready for your new four wheel baby. Might help take your mind off of the wait. Also a good time to catch up on past posts and pictures.

I ahve always been suspecious of the "truck broke down" excuse. I worked for a distributor at one time and the dispatcher worked not to far away from my office. many times I heard him telling the customer Service Staff to call customers and tell them thr truck broke down when really it did not! it was jsut an easy excuse because they got backed up and couldn't make allt he deliveries.

Yup, nope, its real. I kinda feel sorry for the trucker. He has made some bad repair decisions and continues to get the short end of the stick from the mechanics. He has lost a week of work, and is about to loose mine as well. We are having another truck had up and take the rig...
