Well, after nearly a month I have my backhoe and canopy installed. I have taken up about a dozen stumps so far. This is my first experience with a backhoe, but I think that a higher flow hydraulic pump than the 8.3 gal/min service on the 990 would do it some good. It seems a bit starved for flow when trying to feather two or more motions. The power is as expected, not a yellow machine, but enough for around the house.
I have looked a few other comparable aftermarket backhoe attachments, and in my opinion, this one is better built. Unlike the 430 loader I have, this one has the new style cylinder pins.
