Thorns vs. Rimguard filled tires

New to the forum, hello all. My property has tons of some variety of crabapple trees and brush. They are festooned with big murder thorns. I've had to get tubes replaced in the front tires of my current lawn tractor a few times now. The back tires have so far survived. Will the TX25 be at major risk of Rimguard punctures and leaks? Or will it be noticeably better than my little tractor by virtue of its bigger thicker heavier size? It's not a big problem to deal with the little front tires on a J.D. e180. But a rear tire Rimguard puncture on this tractor makes me worried. Thoughts?

Welcome. Some thorns seem capable of piercing an armored personnel carrier. R4 tires may be the most puncture resistant, but I suspect thorns can pierce them. Sealant might not work with ballast in the tires.

There are a few tire sealants advertised to work in liquid ballasted tires.
