don't get discouraged too quickly, believe it or not there are deals out there that are exactly what you are looking for. They won't be new or maybe they won't be real shiny but they are there. there are a lot of dealers that will take an older tractor in on trade just to seal a deal and then they stick it out back untill someone like you ask's about it, or they put it in an auction the tractor never see's the front lot where the preety one's are.I'm getting ready to trade my old ford in and get a new tractor because it's too big for the wife to mow with.It has live pto ,3 pt, power steering,40 hp. all the goodies that you need and I'm only going to get 1800$ out of it. But here where I live all the farmers are big equipment user's and my tractor is to old and small for them but it' too big for a homeowner to mow their front yard with so I 'll trade it in and since I did'nt pay much more for it the hit won't be bad . Ive used this tractor for 4 years and the biggest money I put in it was new rubber, BUT I looked for a year to find it.I bought the tractor and front loader for 2200$ ,rebuilt the bucket changed hyd. cylinders, put in a 125 ' X 15' drive bushhogged every week (summer) last year for 9-12 hrs and moved snow and whatever else I could find to do with it. You can find deals but sometimes it isn't easy. Just be careful when buying used, you might get more hobby time than you want. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
