So I was out working the loader last weekend and started to notice the bucket slowly dumping on its own. So I curled it back up and it started to fall again. Knowing I probably had a hydraulic leak somewhere I quickly brought it under my shop roof and shut it down. I took a look underneath and saw about a half a quart of hydraulic oil dripping from the hose quick connect and who knows how much I lost prior to then on the way back. I did the usual trouble shooting to see why it wasn't making a strong seal and finally determined it was the O-ring inside the female end of the quick connect. There were small pieces of hard rubber that were floating in the opening and the o-ring was starting to fall apart. (Note that there was a lot of tension and downward pressure on the hose as it came from the factory. My fault for not really catching that I guess).
Called up the dealer and they were super helpful and not only gave me a new o-ring but also 2 female quick connects just in case the entire connection had an issue. I have only had my tractor for just over 1 year now and have 140 hours on it. I always noticed hesitation when dumping the bucket and now I know why. So long story short, I replaced the o-ring and topped off fluid and we are back in business! Just hard to believe this was seemingly an issue from the beginning.
Thought I would share in case anyone else experiences the same.
