Thoughts on buying a 2008 B2620 TLBD 483 Hours

I have narrowed down my search for a tractor to Kubota based on my needs and wants. I want a small B series and was considering a new B2601. I have come across a used 2008 B2620 with Loader, backhoe and mid mount mower deck for $21,300 with 483 hours on it. I think if maintenance was done on time, and the machine was not abused, then the hours are nothing to worry about. From the pictures it looks to be in good shape, I will be getting a closer look at it tonight.

According to the dealer, it was a one owner who kept it in a garage and traded it in for a new B2650.

I think the price is a little high, based on looking on tractorhouse.


Does anyone have any thoughts as to if it could be a good deal?

I have never owned a tractor before, however, I am mechanically inclined, and used to be an ASE certified automotive mechanic.

I had a b2620 with the equipment you are pricing it was a good tractor. With the one you are looking at is 10 years old, that seems a little high. Have you priced a new 2650 with the equipment you are wanting. Looks like msrp is around 31000 to 32000, then take off 10 to 15 % that would be the price that I would probably give for a new tractor. The used b2620 I would probably give between 15k and 18k for it. I see in tractorhouse a b2620 with everything except a mmm for little over 17k. Bottom line though is if you like the price go for it, because you are the one paying for the equipment.

Ask the dealer why it priced this high and let him answer you. He may have reason or reasons that make sense or he may flex or he may show he is not reasonable any way you are better off than before. Do not attack, be polite.
