I’ve got a 2008 Massey Ferguson 1528 that I’ve owned for about 10 years. It’s been an outstanding tractor and has amazed me what a workhorse it’s been. I’d like to upgrade to something larger with a hydrostatic transmission and will run a larger hoe. I like to work on things, and have been look at used, but it seems locally a 10 year old 40-50 hp tractor is almost the same price as a new one. Well respected dealer down the road has several MF 1840’s in the high 20’s. Are the new ones as solid as the old ones?
