I think I'm going to start a Micro Firewoodery here in Michigan!

Might contact Vera Bradley and work out some kind of deal with her.

That will pair nicely with the "Designer Newspaper & Gourmet Match Boutique" I'm planning to open in PA!

That box is $40!!!
It's not just any pine though, it comes from the stumps, which are more impregnated with resin. Some people carry a piece in their pocket while in the woods for quick emergency fire starting. A retired forest ranger showed it to me years ago, only he calls it "ghost wood".

PS; I just brought home some cedar today to start next winter's fires... it might not sound as fancy but there's nothing better to get a fire going fast.

I have been making designer firewood for years although it usually started out as a furniture project that went wrong somewhere.
Maybe I could try and sell it rather than burn it.
The french polished is the best.
What we use as kindling is shaving from the lathe wrapped in a sheet of newspaper.

You never know who might buy it. The big city folks that cannot burn a fire in their designer fireplace due to code restrictions might want some of that fancy firewood to sip wine or smoke some dope over and look at the firewood. A bonafide conversation piece. There is a fool born every day.

Many areas of CA cannot burn firewood, that is probably a good market. They could sell an extended warranty along with the firewood and make a killing. Maybe include some munchies in the box for the dopers.

We live in a strange world, anything goes these days.
