Three-point Attachment Question

   / Three-point Attachment Question #21
From the video it looks like the Lionforge thing allows the implement to rotate on the center mount. That seems like it'll be a problem for many implements.

Between top and tilt cylinders, sliding stabilizers, extendable 3pt arms, and dollies for most of my implements I don't find changing implements much of a struggle.

   / Three-point Attachment Question #22
I have gone from hating the 3pt hitch to a mild dislike. Fortunately, I did not invest in any of the Quick hitch options. I used $8 Harbor Freight dollies (two per attachment) and did not have to deal with mounting the QH, or having more stuff in the way to connect the PTO, or modifying some of my older attachments that were not QH compatible, or lengthening any PTO shafts

I have 4 attachments and a ballast box/carry all and it cost me under $100 as I had the wood....used mostly scrap 2x4ç—´.

The downside is that using dollies requires a a cement floor or pad, I need to get off the tractor when switching from blade, rake or ballast box. No big difference when using PTOç—´. It takes a bit longer than a QH. The upside, is that I can more effectively utilize the space in my storage area and can easily move my implements around as needed. No QH will allow that unless on dollies dollies anyway.

As others have pointed out, any new system is going to be rowing against the current. To be commercially successful, it will need to offer significant advantages over what is currently 都tandard? I do not see that with this concept.

BTW, purchased one of your Viper 4500 winches from you guys a few years back. You have a good company so tread carefully on taking this on. Strongly suggest getting a dozen beta units fabbed up and finding local users to test and evaluate them using their current 3pt attachments with the conversion unit you will need. Make sure they work them hard. Use 40 hp or larger tractors.

Again, good luck Peter!

As mentioned:

I furthermore see price as being a major concern as no way can that be very cost advantageous.
Looks costly to manufacture as many equipment 'ends' would be custom designed.

Most existing 'quick' systems only need 2 parts to fit the 3 point lower arms.

Your system needs a whole rear tractor 'frame' plus all the custom ends, just too many different mowers, graders, plows, bush hogs etc etc out there to have a common fitting, aka 'one size fits all'.

   / Three-point Attachment Question #24
I do right well with 3pth and nothing else. I do hook some implements would not think possible to use with the hook design being shown and being stable. Boom mower, believe it would twist the mount terribly also don't see how it would keep the boom mower level and not moving up and down with the play that has to be in the single connection pivot. Chisel plows, believe it would twist on the pivot, trying to prevent twisting at a pivot point would take a very strong lock. It might work on smaller implements but do not think would on larger implements in weight or pure size. Supporting a 1,000 pound plow on it that needs to run level and not rotate or such don't believe that is reasonable with a single pivot connection.

You know there is a very simple quick hitch system that has been out there for years and it is very reliable and will work with all brands of tractors...it is pull implements on wheels. One pin. Easy to get to pto shaft. You may want or need a telescoping draw bar but pull implements sure have advantages over 3pth ones. Do realize some do not lend themselves to be pulled such as boom mower.

   / Three-point Attachment Question #25
Neat attachment system, but in truth, too different from the current market. What I'd like to find is a quick attachment system for the PTO. Hooking up to the 3-point is simple and easy enough, but that PTO... its a bear.
