I have a 2003 Kubota B7800 on which I normally carry a backhoe on the three point hitch. I recently installed the box blade to scrape the driveway and had difficulty with the control valve which lowers and raises the three point hitch. The blade raises without difficulty but is somwhat balky when using the down lever to lower. Is there an adustment somewhere on the tractor to control the power which is distributed to the cylinder in the down position.

Looking forward to your replies.
Thank you.

Did you try turning the knob, between your legs, under your seat? That controls the decent rate of 3pt equipment.

I adjusted the speed control knob as you suggested and although it did increase the lower rate somewhat, it continued to be a problem. I then discovered that the lever was bent and bottomed out before the valve was fully open. Hopefully, this will solve the problem but I was doing this in the dark and therefore won't be able to try it out until tomorrow.
How low will the hitch actually go down?
Thank you for your suggestion.
