Three point hitch YM1510D

Hi,
This is the three point hitch on my YM1510D. As you can see on the picture this is not the original three point hitch for a Yanmar but this is how I bought it. The stabiliser chains are on the outside of the lower lift arms. This results in bending both pins. For this reason I would like to bring the stabiliser chains on the inside of the lift arms so it will pull the lift arm in stead of pushing. I just don稚 know where I can attach them. I don稚 see any holes or bolts at the back in the middle of the tractor where I can attach them to. Any ideas, suggestions, solutions?

Lok under the tractor and see if there are drawbar mounting points, if so use them to mount a bracket with a double anchor point for a central stabiliser chain.

Looks like there's four studs back there. May have had a plate or casting mounted on the studs for chains. That's how my Ford is set up. :confused3:

The adapters Winston1 has the link for looks like the way to go. They are relativity inexpensive and would allow for shorter pins to be used and mounted from inside the lower arms at the strongest part of the pin from a bending perspective. Only possible drawback might be PTO shaft interference as they appear to need to connect in an X pattern. That may not be an issue depending on where the cross point of the X is located by position on the lower arms.
And having seen them it would be be an fairly simple build. Some 2” flat stock 1/4”, a drill and some drill bits, a grinder for relief on corners, a hammer and vice for a 30 degree or so bend. And within a hour or so you should be set.

Here's what is on YM186D, the US-market version of 1510D. It's a complete assembly that is bolted on the back of the transmission plus connected where your 3-point pins go into the sides of the transmission.

These photos are from my first YM186D where someone reinforced the center part by adding welding beads. The YM186D that I have now is the same but without the welding.

I will probably go for the sway chain adapters. Maybe not the perfect solution because of the xpattern but probably better than the way it is now.

Some heavy pipe should work for the spacer with maybe some washers on the lower arm side.

I went out and took photos of my present YM186D. (I bought this second one because it has loader and power steering).

The 3-point center support is more obvious in this photo than it was in my other photo above. Those fins come up and apply the sway-chain stress to four bolts in the pto cover in addition to the stress applied to the cast 3-point mount points, farther down.

This design likely also shares some of the stress onto the drawbar mount.



And here is how that assembly is bolted to the location where YM1510's 3 point hinge pins screw in. (That lower bolt). This puts stress closer to the body of the transmission, compared to the stress that three point arms apply if they ride on hinge pins down there.
