Well I made one too, one of my first real welding projects. It's not prettied up and painted yet though.

Harbor freight has these. ATV Hitch Adapter
I used one for a winch mount on a trailer so I could remove the winch and I can put a ball mount on it and use it to hold a wood splitter on the trailer.

My mom bought my dad one that was made by tarter gate company from the local Co-Op with a 2 5/16" ball next to the top pin. It is light duty made from thin 3"x3" square and had a sticker on that said don't use to move a loaded trailer. You can especially tell it when moving a gooseneck. I kind of copied the design and beefed it up. The one I made is from 4"x4"x1/4" square and more bracing. It is one of the handiest attachments we have.

A hitch system is one of the handiest tools for any tractor. This one stays on the tractor when other tools are not in use. She uses it mostly for her trailer around the place barking and brush removal. Told me my rig was too big so had to get her one her size.
This pic is of her backing to toss a set of tongs on the log. Was enough lift to get one end off the ground for removal.

Is the winch electric, or hydraulic? I'd like to see a better pic of it if you have one.

10,000 electric with a quick disconnect at the rear housing.
I have the same thing almost on the back of mine that is hyd as there is better flow in the 50hp deere. It also has a boom that takes the place of the upper link and extends out over the housing about 3ft. as it can put the tongs on the ground and when lifting take them to almost 5ft it makes for a good fairlead with a block on it or for picking logs with tongs.

I always put ball-mounts and/or receiver hitches on all my equipment. My Cub Cadet super garden tractor only has a cat 0 3-point so I thought a 2 inch receiver would look a little oversized for it. I paid $10 for a 1.25 hitch made for a small car at a flea market, cut it to size and added pins and an upright, and it made a nice cat 0 receiver hitch.
