throttle lock

I have a Mahindra 3215 HST and run a snowblower off of the rear PTO. The tractor has a throttle lock that is not designed to work in reverse. This causes severe discomfort since I have to twist around to drive backwards and it takes me 5 to 6 hours to plow my road and yard. Is there a feasible way to have the throttle lock work in reverse?
