Throttle on TC45D

The throttle on my TC45D won't stay in place. I add RPM and it just goes back to idle. How do I adjust this tension. I stretched the spring return a little and it helped for about a minute.

Item #1 is the adjustment. As you tighten the nut it applies more tension on friction discs (#5) making the lever harder to move. (Provided the friction washers are still there.)

If someone lubed the friction washers, they will have to be cleaned to work properly.

This seems to have been the adjustment that Harry suggested. I tightened the nut down a bit and it stays in place now. Thank you Harry!
