My YM2000 is running great, but the throttle lever slowly creeps back decreasing RPM. I checked the owner’s manual but could not find an adjustment. It looks like I could tighten the nut on the lever assembly to create more friction. Is this the right way to adjust?
Thanks, John

You are correct. It has a double nut lock. You loosen the outer and tighten the inner. Then retighten the outer to keep it from loosening. I always put some lube on it before and after adjusting.

Thanks kayssupply, that's what I thought.

My Yanmar Ke3d had the same problem. I had to take the steering wheel off to then take the dash off to get to the mechanism. It too has two nuts and a friction washer like the others described.
