Thumb Thumb for Bradco 611 - just installed last night

Thumbs up to the way Bradco designed the thumb that goes with the 611 backhoe. It wasn't too difficult to install, and it fits perfectly. I'll post some pictures if anyone's interested.

One of the projects I'm starting is to build a retaining wall with some big boulders from out of my creek, and this thumb looks like it's going to make the job much easier.

I'll get those pictures posted soon - I was too greasy and tired last night to take any /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif In the meantime, here's a picture that Bradco publishes:

I got it from my dealer - they had one on the lot and the price was $400 which isn't too bad. I've seen thumbs on eBay for around $300 that you had to weld together yourself, and they didn't look anywhere nearly as strong as the Bradco factory unit (they use 3/4" steel throughout, so it's real beefy).
