Time for a new one right? No way to fix? This one doesn't have grease fitting on the bottom, 245 power steering model.

Alot of wrong ways to patch this up ;but the fact remains you need a new one. A jack will push it back together for a slow trip to the barn or shop.

same thing, but on a smaller scale... I used to have an old Bolens 1050 garden tractor. When a ball joint fell apart and I couldn't locate a replacement, I drilled and tapped a hole in the middle of the ball, and drilled a larger hole in the cup. Then greased it up and threaded in a bolt with a large washer or 2 under the head. When the bolt bottomed out in the hole I drilled, it was pretty snug and stayed together for years.
Sort of a McGyver thing, I suppose.
