correct, Mahindra is one.

"Mahindra mCRD Technology

The new Mahindra mCRD technology is the direct result of a $30 million dollar investment to redesign and engineer our new Tier IV Engines. We've created a turnkey solution without utilizing a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This means no excess heat or burn off and less complexity for the operator. The new Mahindra mCRD Tier IV Engines provide a simple solution and reduce gas emissions by over 360 tons per year and meets the new Tier IV emissions standards without the need for a DPF... and still help you Push More, Pull More and Lift More!"

Yes sir! Big advantage when looking at new T4 Tractors. No reason to be scared of getting into new tractor just make sure and do the research instead of chasing a color.

Diesel Exhaust:
You have no right to create dangerous pollutants that affect the lives of others. Doing that is simply a form of trespass, serious trespass.

But isn't your tractor a diesel sir? Shouldn't you convert to full electric??

I too think that the heavy handed regulating of small, non commercial diesels is going overboard. And yes, I lived in the LA basin for a few years as a kid and remember how really terrible the air was.

Our little tractors are not the problem, and not even a meaningful tiny part of the problem. Think airliners. They are burning essentially the same fuel as us, but are literally consuming tons of it while we burn less than a gallon. Jet engines have no, zip, zero, and nada emission controls. The particulate they dump into the air is put right where it'll do the most harm (if you happen to believe Gore, which I don't). So why don't they concentrate on cleaning up airliners instead of our little tractors?? Firstly, there probably isn't technology available to stuff a potato (DPF) into a jet exhaust and still have it get off the ground. And, it would be politically untenable for elected officials to ground the airlines. So they are conveniently ignored while they come down on us with the heavy boot. Makes a lot of sense, don't it?

Actually modern jet engines burn very clean in order to extract every available btu from the fuel to turn that potential heat into thrust.
Those GE90 fans under a 777 are a long way from the JT3D in TF33 form used on a B52H.

Jet engines do have emissions regulations. Smoke regulations started in 1974. NOX is the current focus with a new recommendation to be presented in 2016.

We could return to the old days like y'all advocate but then we would be like China and have to shut down half the industry to clean up the air for this week's economic summit. Wouldn't we all love that - license ending in an odd number can drive only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Even numbers can drive Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Nobody drives on Sunday. Some Chinese say they have never breathed clean air like this before - we should keep the rules in place permanently.

Hopefully within the next 10 years when Lockeed Martin starts mass producing the new fusion reactors that will fit in a large truck bed- and produce 100 megawatts of power , there will be enough pollution savings to leave our little diesel tractors alone:thumbsup::licking:Lockheed says it

As confident as they sound it wouldn't surprise me if they already have working units in use ( but that is classified):D

Hopefully within the next 10 years when Lockeed Martin starts mass producing the new fusion reactors that will fit in a pick up truck bed- and produce 100 megawatts of power

we don't need no stinkin pickup bed and we get 1.21 gigawatts !

Even better- now with that model - roads, we don't need no roads and won't have to get the tractor up to 88 miles per hour any more :D
