Tile shower leak help needed..

This is why I will always install one piece acrylic or fiberglass shower/tubs. Water will rot your dreams away and tile jobs all seem to leak at some point.

that is a good point and what i told my wife just the othe day..

We love the look of our custom tile shower, BUT I could do without that leak. LOL

For the expense of doing a tile job right, it's hard not to go with a one piece unit.

It seems to me that if the tile leaked while it was in warentee then it was never repaired and this is not a new issue, and should be part of that original fix.
If you decide to repair it yourself then determine if its the drain line or the pan that is leaking. Plug the drain with one of those thin rubber sing pads and fill the basin and determine if it leaks overnight. (personally I would add some food coloring to help see the leak.)

We think it should be still considered under the warranty since it was not correctly repaired before.. I didnt understand enough about how it was designed to understand that sealing the tile was NOT a fix, just a patch the first time it was leaking
