Stock Kubota remotes are inclosed in a steel housing, couplings sit flush with the face.

If that is correct then you must be able to reach behind the housing to release the couplings. The spring loaded ring on the female coupler must be pulled backwards to release the male. (Odd as in real life moving a ring on a female usually captures the male:laughing:)

The remote in question is put in a housing with a lip on the front and is held in place with a snap ring in the rear, locking it in place. The only way to move the coupling is by pushing the hose part forward.

I haven't installed the hydraulic hoses yet, so I don't know how much slack I'll have. Just seems like a pain with four connection in a 3" x 3" area, to reach behind everything and push one hose at a time.

Just looking for a easy way I guess. Anyone with factory installed remotes care to tell how they do it ?

If I understand this correctly, all you would need to do to disconnect is to yank on the male fitting. That would pull the female forward which would push the spring ring against the inside of the housing and push it back. Is that right?

That is what I was thinking, Just want someone to say it's the way it's done, before I start yanking on a hose and screw something up.

I haven't actually seen one of the Kubota set ups but from your description it must be done that way. Hydraulic lines are tough and you will be grabbing the metal male connector anyway so yank as hard as you like.
