Tillerrecommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for a rotary tiller. I heave heard that Kubota tillers don't hold up well. Gearmore tillers have been recommended as more trouble free. Does anyone have any experience with these two makes?

Just picked up a Howard Rotavator (50") Seems to be built very well and the price was right, too. Someone told me that Howard makes the Deere tillers for them at a much bigger price. In any case, check it out...

You may also want to check out bushhog . They are known for their mowers but make a good tiller as well.

I am looking at an older 50" Howard a neighbor has for sale, the plate says 500B, but I'm told it is a model J. Any idea how much it might be worth?

David, Welcome to TBN, can you get a photo of the unit? To show how much wear and tear (if any) is on the machine. Howard is a good unit, how much are they asking for it?
