Tillin' in the Rain

Re: Tillin\' in the Rain

Imagine a manic, wild-eyed Gene Kelly thowing mud all over creation with his big ole 60" KK tiller.

/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I can see it now...

Even more manic... We had some shingles blow off. Sunday it was looking like rain, so the wife and I decided it to put the new ones on the roof - just in case it really started to come down. About halfway through the job it started to rain. We continued, figuring it needed to get done.

Finished up, by then it was raining hard and we were soaked. Roof was done, though, and we were ready for the rain to continue all day and all night.

An hour later the sun was out. Boy did we feel...well, you'll have to find your own words for it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

Have you ever thought about welding up a log cabin?

There is a problem with that idea Chuck. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's finding the right filler rod material.

I heard Bois De Arc worked but so far all I can get it to do is cinderize. Oak ain't worth a flip. Cedar'll flip out and disappear faster'n an Iraqi mine layer. Pine is just as bad.

I'll keep trying though. BTW that's my reply when the old question "How ya doin'?" is asked.

I say, "I'm trying, some folks say real trying, but screw'em."
