Jan 2025 Update

Big news! I was on the waiting list with 500 other exhibitors to be at the National Farm Machinery Show and was one of 30 to get accepted! The show is huge with 800 exhibitors and 300,000 attendees over the 4 days.

Production on the first units will begin next week.

The design now features horizonal oscillation which allows the plow to better follow uneven surfaces.
I have added laminated rubber wheels as tailwheels and they work perfectly.

Anybody going to the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY? See you there?

As I have only built a prototype, I can't speak to the cost difference between a standard, manual adjust blade and the TiltPlow. Of course the TiltPlow will be more expensive but shouldn't add too much. The real savings is not having to plumb hydraulics to the front of the tractor.

I guess I don't follow your comment on the loader float not really working when pushing. I have been having great success with the TiltPlow following a paved ditch that crosses one of my neighbor's lanes. It is possible that it is working so well because it acts as its own carriage and can pivot at the connection to the loader.

If I put my loader into float in this setup (fixed stainless plow), my front wheels will be off the ground in 5-20' or so. 8' wide plow is a bit wide for my machine. Not sure if one around 7' would do better.

My old L3200 with my old home made plow (yellow) hat had a chain to float just the plow didn't have the issue. I'm sure if I rebuilt my stainless plow to have float on it I'd be happier. But it works ok enough for me to not bother.

So what happens when you follow this link to my website? Can you see the videos there?

TiltPlow

Finally looked at your page... I'm sure float on the plow is what stops you from having issues. Interesting idea.

All I can say is good luck with your patent attorney. I hold patents on 2 items related to custom motorcycle parts that I sell worldwide and after I ventured down that road and to great expense I realized that anyone could replicate my stuff with just a minor design change. Spending the money only benefitted the patent attorney and not me. What I did was I really crunched the numbers cost wise and priced my stuff at a point where it would be very hard to replicate the items for even the Chinese. Don't make a ton but I sell a ton of them.

Your plow design looks interesting but I also run a 10 foot plow with power angle so I have the loader mounted hydraulics available.

In reality, in today's market, a patent is worth about as much as the paper it's printed on.
