Whew, I was worried you were going to cut a big hole in that wood.
Now I can say wow!
Now I can say wow!
A few updated pics coming soon. The last few weeks have been extremely busy and stressful. I always said I would never move into an unfinished home however our renters for our old place started moving in today. We spent the last two nights in the new home. On the inside I still have some t&g in the ceilings to do, base trim, and half of my windows to trim out. We are still waiting on a few plumbing fixtures as well but do have working appliances, working toilets, and one working shower.
On the outside siding should be wrapped up by Friday. My stonework is on hold while I wait for a new crew to arrive due to some issues with the last crew.
Even with everything going on it was really nice yesterday to leave work and drive home. :cool2: If some of you missed it earlier in the thread our old home is on the upper floor of our business building. I haven't been able to technically leave work for the last 15 years. Just to be able to walk away from work at the end of the day and sit outside at the new home was fantastic.
So how far is your new commute? (Mine is 67 miles and that's too far IMO. $600/mo in gasoline)
Only 3 miles. 4 if you count our driveway.
Wow, what a great place. I look forward to seeing the outside take shape. How did you find your rock supplier?
