Greg, exactly right. We have two other dogs that he chums around with. In addition, I've been having friends bring their dogs over when they come to visit. Just like with my previous lab, we also take his food bowl, bones and toys from him when he's eating or playing with them, so he doesn't get mad with that. I won't tolerate a dog that gets aggressive (when he shouldn't be) or I can't trust around others. A good dog should be able to tell the difference between someone being harmless versus someone that doesn't belong or is up to no good.
We just picked up a new puppy in Wyoming. Had to drive to Cheyenne to get her, so that was quite a road trip!!!! She is 12 weeks old, weighed 22 pounds and has to potential to be a top show dog. That Akita people here in Texas are very exited about her.
