Buying Advice Time to buy

Go for the CK35 HST. I never thought I would be using the PTO but did buy a used post hole auger. Now that we have calves I am thinking of a rototiller to make more seeded pasture for them. :)

Nothing against the CK35 but the CK27 would have no trouble at all with an auger or tiller. IMO the only area that the 35 has a real advantage is in running a bigger mower. Both are rated for five foot implements as I recall though both would run a six foot finish mower easily. It would be easier to "cheat" with the 35 using a six rather than five foot PTO powered implements like medium duty bush hogs.

CK35 vs CK27 with an extra $2000+ in implements such as grapple, diverter valve, rear remotes, topping lift etc. Which would do work most efficiently? I'd argue the 27 with extra specialized implements would get more done (except mowing).

Actually, w/ the new subcompact coming out next year in @ 22 and 25HP, I heard talk of the CK20 possilbly being bumped up to @ 25hp and maybe eliminate the 27.
Just speculation, nothing for sure.
