That tractor is becoming more of a luxury vehicle than machinery.

He's got a good point here. You keep making improvements and you might not be able to declare it as work equipment anymore.

I'd be playing Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Diana Krall, etc on mine if I had a cabbed tractor...:)

Amen, Brother! A little Dave Brubeck, some Mike Brecker, and Peter Gabriel (for the song "Digging in the Dirt".) :D

Sir Paul,
As usual, a first class job! Thanks for so many details of the build. I like that phone holder and the remote control. There's got to be a tailgate opportunity this Spring, provided it ever gets here...

I am with you there. I listen off and on to many other styles of music but listen to jazz regularly. I listen to Jazz FM 91.1 on my sound system when I can pick it up, and when I can't get it, I'll tune in on Itunes. Great sounding stuff, though my memory is so poor I can't every remember the artist's names.

I listen to public radio KUVO 89.3 www.kuvo.org for my jazz fix; but tune them out when they stray off course during certain times of the day or when they are having a begathon.

Of course we need Dave Brubeck's Take Five whether we're taking five or doing actual work.

Of course Paul needs to build a tailgate for it; where else is he going to hang that 55" HDTV? :D

Paul, and others who take the time to "document" their projects: thank you. You have to believe that lots of readers enjoy seeing better equiped owners than ourselves, and folks with more talent and time, busy doing neat things.

All your various LED strobes have got me thinking how nice it would be to have something really visible (more than a SMV triangle) when we venture out on public roads. I am exposed for about 200 yards on a two lane highway whenever I trek out with a trailer behind my tractor for old horse manure at a neighbor's boarding farm, and since it's on a hill, I get real nervous! I always go on sunday afternoon, but still, a flashing LED is gonna happen when I find a cheap one. In fact, if you could post some info on those replacement LED bulbs you mentioned, for the Kubota original lighting, I'd appreciate it.
Keep posting- we love it!

Thanks buddy. Yesterday I was asked to pull a car back on the road. The traffic was terrible and I had to be out in the middle of the road and although I was concerned about the dangers of being there I knew I was more than visible. Big bright orange tractor with a pile of LED lights did help and I got the vehicle out as well.

Glad you enjoy my posts. I like to share info. That's what it's supposed to be all about. I just put up a video of a project I did for a fellow collector friend of mine. It's not tractor related but it's orange :D Thanks for posting!

4shorts,
That is a nice upgrade from the stock stereo and the install job looks professional. I'm sure that music sounds much better too. That tractor is becoming more of a luxury vehicle than machinery.

Thank you. I tease Matt but the truth be told I like all music. Well almost all. I remember my sons using then shop for band practice years ago. At the time they were playing heavy metal music. I would walk in the shop and ask all of them if they were playing any sheet metal music. You should have seen the looks I got from them

I like the Eagles, Elton John, Def Leppard, Nickleback, Eric Clapton... My son who is in Afghanistan right now played one of my favorite tunes. This one I play allot on the bike. Watch it right through. He switches guitars in the middle of the song.

Holy smoke I never thought about that  Might be time to start removing some stuff.

Thanks buddy. Well we have a storm heading here today. Spring is a long way off for us as well.

It's very doable. It couls be placed on the rear blower to act as a plow and then pop up as a tailgate :D

Matt the TV might be a problem. :D You wouldn't want to be in the shop with me when I'm working. I got it cranked up and I'm zoned in doing my work. Just gotta love it

Sheet metal music...I love it! I'm not into speed-metal.

Depends on how cranked up it is. I just upgraded my garage with a cheap clock radio from my Mom's place. :)
