Somethink else I forgot to mention. I asked my dealer about what I could do to help from tipping on hills. He suggested two options, travel verticle up and down the hill or if traversing sideways use filled tires & wheel weights. This will help keep the CG lower. I have a cab which is heavy and this tends to raise the CG. Also, I hope you had your seat belt on. It's very important to use a seatbelt and let the ROPS do it's job to protect the driver from being hurt. So many people think it's safer to try and jump from the tractor if it's going over. Many people get hurt or killed this way.
Yes-thanks for the reminder, I often neglect to put my seat belt on but in reality the seat belt and the ROP system work hand in hand.
I have tipped my ATV over on several occasions and your correct 80% of the time there is no time to jump off.
