Tips on using a rear blade to grade a road

Or you can get a blade much too wide for normal use, maybe a light-duty one, about 3-4 feet wider than the tractor. Use it for getting those edges.

I have an old 7ft grader edge I'm thinking of attaching to my 5ft rear blade for that kind of work.

My Bush Hog blade has some offset ability but only a wider blade, as stated, will go out there to grab those rocks. I too had the same thought to fab a blade extension- it could even be clamped on for times of use? I gave away a cheapo blade to a neighbor who is a pack rat and already had one that he didn't use much. I'm thinking donor material from it if he'll tolerate me being a "take it back" guy? The Native American version of take back is probably culturally insensitive me thinks...
Either way I welcome box blade comments as used on steep grades?
