I widened the wheels and put the chains on two days ago. I am glad I did because it is snowing now and expected to get over a foot by Tuesday. Whew!!!
Oh, I'm a rookie alright, so I'm expecting it will take a few tries to get it right... although, my dad claims they're easy to install, so I just may make him prove it!If you are a rookie like I was when I put my chains on the first time allow yourself plenty of time to fit them. There are about thirty-six ways to put tire chains on the hard way. I know. I tried them all. A hundred pound tire chain is like handling one hundred pounds of Jello.
