Chains tire chains

whats the best method for making tire chains for turf tires.. how far should you space the chain links.. I figure I just as well get them made before next winter gets here..

This how I have my tire chains spaced.

is that standard chain crossing the tire or is it links for snow chains.. I know there is a traction type link on some chains.. will have to go to local auto parts and see if chain with teeth are avaiable

That would be links for snow chains.
