I don't think 35 psi is going to compression ignite WD-40.

Yes as I understand now if DOT stops you for safety check one of the checks is air in tire and if any starting fluid or other is found you are pulled from road until fixed you don't move.

Yea ok. So wd40 is going to auto ignite in a low pressure tractor tire yet semi's are driving around with 80,000+ lbs. on tires 125+psi with detectable starting fluid in them. Tell me more

Yes, That remote is similar. I found mine at Gemplers. It is 3' with a side mount or 90 degree clip to attach to the nozzle. If it was a straight in air chuck that would be too bulky for some tires.

my f450 with 19.5" rims and 80-90 psi tires reccomends ont he door post to use a remote valve inflator...

Have used Safety Seal Tire Mounting Lube and also helpful Safety Seal Bead Leak Sealer to make sure you have air tight seal on bead when remounting

Never us oil or wd40 around a tube. The rubber of tubes is not as tough as that of tires. I have seen tubes fail in a day because someone used a lot of wd40 to lube the tire to help it pop on the rim.
You also need to be vary careful of greyish black tire lube.. the greasy stuff. I have used it for many many years and it will destroy tubes. works great to seal rusty rims and dried up tires, but mushes up tubes in days.
I have had to repair and replace tubes for free because the patch man said that it was fine...

one product is called fre lube, no rim rust. the other that I know is a prema product.. basicly if it has any type of petroleum in it, it will destroy a tube.
ruglide is fine.. I also use a euro bead wax. I find it is great and lets tires pop on the rim at a lower pressure. I find federal branded tires and sailun tires tend to require a lot of pressure to snap them on the bead. I know that If I use regular ruglide on a federal passenger tire it will need about 70 psi to pop.. and that scares me. the same tire on the same vehicle using bead wax requires usually 40 to 50 psi.. some manufacturers must build the tires a little snugger.

.

we call that bead sealer.. and yeah.. don't use on tubes. it can make hen stick to the casing when dry.. pop em.. etc.

are you using tubes because tire porous or because you are having bead leaks. If bead leak why not use Bead Leak Sealer to make air tight fit. I use Safety Seal Bead leak it makes great seal and best bead leak I have tried.

Wanted to comment on dish soap being corrosive. I had a cracked bottle of dish soap sitting in an old stainless sink in the garage. It sat there a couple weeks, and when I removed it, the sink was rusted enough that it was pitted from the soap. My wife has a small hand pump lid on a mason jar full of dish soap on the kitchen sink. I just replaced the lid on that because the dish soap rusted out the steel lid. I'm not sure what is used in dish soap, but it is corrosive.

I've been using the little shampoo bottles you get in hotels on my motorbikes tyres for years. Handy size and easy to carry when out in the bush.

They smell nice and tangles just comb right out :)
