Purchased a new LB1914 about 3 years ago with AG tires. After adding tubes + many patches, I really need new front tires and I want to go with Industrial. Ag tires are Titan 6-12. Would this be the same size for Industrial tires?
Fourth of July morning and left front tire got a new hole. What a terrible way to have to celebrate the 4th, with an incapacitated tractor...not to mention that I have about 4 more hours of bush hogging to do and leaving for vacation next weekend. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ind tire sizes are different--maybe a local tire store could help??
My CK30HST brochure shows on front a 7-14 AG or Ind is 25X8.5-14 sorry I dont have your tractor brochure- but this shows manufacturers us different designations for the two--- I seriously doubt rims are the same---Ind are wider.
Happy 4th....this too will pass as my M.I.L says. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
My saw guy didn't have my chains sharpened for the weekend---guess what? No cutting /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks TractorLegend. I don't think looking at LB1914 brochures will be as helpful. Although one could order the tractor with Industrial tires, the brochure only described Ag and Turf setups. Interesting point about the rims. Wonder if Turf and Industrial use the same rims... Also concerned that the front end of the tractor could end up setting lower with industrial tires on just the front. Maybe I should abandon this idea and just order 2 new Ag tires. Anyone know if they make Kevlar-belted Ag tires? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The industrial tires use different rims and both front and back have to be changed to maintain the correct "rolling ratio" for the 4wd to work. If you replace the fronts only, be sure the diameter is the same, one companies 6.00x12 may not be same as anothers, I have seen quite a difference between tire brands with same size on the side of the tire.

The LB1914 uses 23 x 8.5 - 12 IND tires for the front, and 6 - 12/4 AG tires for the front. You must, as bluechip mentioned, have the ratio the same between the fronts and back with 4WD tractors or the lead lag between them will damage the mechanisms.
If your rear tires are adequate, I'd stick with Ags on the front.
The tires and rims come from Titan tires on current models.

Thanks for the responses. Seems I need to remove a tire and wheel, bring it in and make sure they order a pair just like it. Titan...same everything. Since the rears still do look new, I won't be switching over to industrial after all.
